We are past the halfway mark for the JobKeeper scheme and you would not believe how it has kept us on our toes!
The below dates are not for Organisations scheduled to receive Transitions Payments (Starting Monday, 13 July 2020.) Information on the cessation of the Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package can be found here.

You don’t have to change your pay cycle to the same as JobKeeper fortnight – as long as you pay any JobKeeper eligible employees the $1500 before tax, sometime within the above JobKeeper fortnight.
If you usually pay your employees less frequently than fortnightly, the payment can be allocated between fortnights in a reasonable manner.
Monthly Declaration Periods
Each month you must make a declaration to the ATO in order to be reimbursed for the JobKeeper payments made to staff in the previous month. You need to do this between the 1st and 14th of the month (for example, to be reimbursed for JobKeeper payments made in June you need to complete your declaration by 14 July). This declaration requires that you report your applicable revenue for the month just ended, an estimate of the income the organisation will earn in the current month and the number of staff you paid JobKeeper to in the previous month.
Month | Monthly Declaration Period |
June | 1 July – 14 July |
July | 1 August – 14 August |
August | 1 September – 14 September |
September | 1 October – 14 October |
